  1. First, On your Android phone, Insert the micro SD card.
  2. Next, Open the Settings app.
  3. Select the Storage option.
  4. Tap on the SD card you inserted.
  5. Hit the menu button and select Storage settings.
  6. Choose Format as internal.
  7. Click on Erase and format.
  8. Hit OK.
  9. Transfer your data (or choose to do so later).
  10. You have completed the process.

Move Apps to SD cards using the Application Manager.

  • Navigate to Settings on your phone. In the app drawer, you can find the settings menu.
  • Tap Apps.
  • Select & choose an app you want to move to the microSD card.
  • Tap Storage.
  • Tap Change if it’s there.
  • The app cannot be moved if you don’t see the Change option. If you cannot find any apps with this option, likely, your device does not support the feature.
  • Tap Move.

If you want to move an app back to the internal memory, Click on the Change button again and select Internal Storage.

  6. Tap SD Card > MOVE.

  1. Make sure that you have an SD card inserted into your device.
  2. Tap the Application screen icon from your Home screen.
  3. Find and tap Settings > Apps.
  4. Tap an app that you want to move to the memory card. Note! Only some apps can be moved to a memory card.
  5. Tap Storage.
  6. If the app supports changing where it’s stored, a CHANGE button appears—tap CHANGE.
  7. Tap SD Card > MOVE.

Android 4.4, 5.0 or 5.1
